What is Work and Travel

The Work and Travel program, established and regulated by the U.S. Department of State, provides an easy, secure, and rewarding way for students to live and work in the United States during their summer break. It offers the chance to travel to incredible destinations, gain valuable work experience, form lasting friendships, and earn enough to cover expenses, with the potential to save as well. This program is a unique opportunity to go beyond sightseeing and immerse yourself in American culture, experiencing life in the U.S. firsthand.

Program Duration

The program is available during students’ summer break, allowing a full time student, to work for up to four months from June until September. After completing the work period, students can enjoy an additional 30 days in the U.S. as tourists. Participants have the flexibility to choose their work duration— 4 to 5 months —based on their preferences.

Eligibility and Reapplication

At the end of the program, participants are required to return to their home country. However, full-time students can reapply for the program in subsequent summers.

Job Placement with American employer

Before applying for a J-1 visa and traveling to the U.S., participants must secure a job placement with an American employer that meets the program’s specific requirements. Job placements can be arranged individually or through interviews organized by Kouzon.

Who can provide sponsorship and support application process ?

Kouzon Corporation, as a legally authorized representative of these U.S. organizations, ensures a seamless application process and support throughout the program.

This program is an excellent gateway to new experiences, personal growth, and cultural exchange.

“Through this program, I managed to make friendships and meet people from different parts of the world, to get to know and learn a lot about different cultures and the way they live. I realized that despite our differences, we can still be the best of friends.”
