Lower Township is a township in Cape May County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The township, and all of Cape May County, is part of the Ocean City metropolitan statistical area, and is part of the Philadelphia-Wilmington-Camden, PA-NJ-DE-MD combined statistical area, also known as the Delaware Valley or Philadelphia metropolitan area.

Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery is owned and operated by husband and wife Todd & Kenna Wuerker. The farmland has been in the Wuerker family since the 1940s when Todd’s grandfather emigrated from Germany to start a family in Cape May County. Though the landscape has changed through the years, from cattle to vegetables to vinifera, there is a dedication to quality and a passion for excellence that has been as constant as the namesake hawks that soar overhead.
