Yellowstone National Park is located primarily in the very remote U.S. state of Wyoming, although it extends into Montana and Idaho. It was established by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant on March 1, 1872 and is widely known as the first National Park in the World. Native Americans have lived in the Yellowstone region for at least 11,000 years and the Park is home to hundreds of species of mammals, birds, fish and reptiles.
Delaware North Yellowstone General Stores operates 12 general stores under a concessions contract with the National Park Service. The stores are located throughout Yellowstone National Park and offer a variety of products and services including gifts, apparel, groceries, food and outdoor recreation. Yellowstone General Stores brings together enthusiastic people from all over the world to provide exceptional guest service to 3 million park visitors each year!
